Unless you visit our site every day you will not know if it has been updated so I have been thinking about how to inform people of updates to the site and wondered about a mailing list. How do people think about that? We could send an email to people on the list when we update any part of the site. Can you please let me know what you think and also if anyone would like to be added to the list. I can guarantee that the list would not be sold on to anyone for other purposes. Since the site does not get updated very often you would not be inundated with emails.

The sad person I am I check the site regularly and really like the new look though the hockey stick is a bit small now!! I am all for an update mail!

Our web designer Paul has produced a new nice looking design and uploaded it earlier this week. The code used is a bit much for me to learn easily and unfortunately Paul was unable to include some of the latest news from the balloons race and the race night etc. He does have a proper paid job and cannot get much time to do major work on our site. Therefore we have gone back to the earlier design that I can edit until such time as he is able to redo the whole site.

The email idea is still valid so if anyone apart from Mike wants to receive emails then please let me know.
